BAJURA, AUGUST 20

As the annual religious fair in Bajura's Badimalika is just a few days away, devotees have started heading to the famed religious and tourism destination of Sudurpaschim Province. The fair will be observed on Sunday.

According to local teacher Sanu Thapa of Bajura's Martadi, more people have headed to Badimalika this year despite the fact that the district administration office of Bajura has clarified that there will be no official worshipping this year.

"As there are many people even in India who strongly believe that visiting the fair will fulfil their dreams, many people come to observe the fair, and surprisingly this year more people are going to Badimalika this year despite the COVID crisis," said District Livestock Centre Chief Shiddharaj Joshi.

Badimalika is located at an altitude of 4,000-plus metres.
