Rajan Pokhrel elected NFSJ president
KATHMANDU, AUGUST 12
Nepal Forum of Science Journalists has announced its new executive committee, with Rajan Pokhrel as the forum's new president.
Pokhrel is the current Editor of The Himalayan Times national daily.
NFSJ's 9th general assembly of elected Pokhrel as the president of NFSJ.
Likewise, Madhusudan Guragai has been elected the Vice-president while Gobinda Pokharel is the new Secretary and Balika Maden the treasurer.
Indira Aryal, Sonam Lama and Aruna Joshi are the new members of the forum while founder president Chhatra Karki has been appointed the programme committee head.
The committee, which will work in coordination with other science and tech organisations in the country, includes Laxman Dangol, Rajendra Khanal, Bhadra Sharma, Mani Dahal, Avyaraj Joshi and Saugat Bolake, as its members.
