TGIF- NEPAL FASHION WEEK: KNOW YOUR DESIGNERS

The most-anticipated fashion event of the country - The Himalayan Times TGIF Nepal Fashion Week - is a platform for designers to showcase their diverse creations.
From paying attention to factors like sustainability to wearers' comfort, some of the designers participating in this year's celebration of fashion are set to offer a spectacle of designs that are wearable, trendy, and encourage slow-fashion, too.
Nude presents The Himalayan Times TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2022 in association with Carlsberg and Agni Group is scheduled for September 22-24 at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu. Farmasi is the make-up partner of the event supported by FYMO and Hyatt Regency Kathmandu.

For TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2022 Runway, Chuplag Studio - a 'Made in Nepal' clothing brand that not only designs and sells but also conducts fashion design training programmes - will bring to you a collection inspired by feminism and women empowerment via simple comfort living in sustainable materials and eco-friendly prints that encourage slow-fashion in today's era of fast fashion.
Unaware of the waste that we produce and consume today in the fashion industry, we are misbalancing our environmental natural cycle with pollution. This collection is a conscious effort to show that sustainability can also be worn with no compromise in fashion statement.

Being a part of this fashion week will help us make the Nepali fashion audience aware about sustainable clothing and how less is more.

ALL ABOUT THE COLLECTION
It is all about recollection of memory. Fashion has been my passion since my childhood. I have always been interested in clothing and styling since a young age. This collection is my very first designs. If I were to describe it in one sentence - it would be 'sketches to dresses'.
NSbyjenny is a Nepali retail brand. We cater casual to fusion ethnic wear for women. We focus on sizes and customisations and believe fashion has no body type.
As such I will be showcasing fusion wear - a mixture of Indo and Western via this collection at TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2022. My collection includes drape saree, cape blouse, ethnic top in Indo style with a Western touch. It can be easily worn at any function or event by different age groups making them look elegant, beautiful, and stylish.
BEING A PART OF TGIF NEPAL FASHION WEEK 2022
TGIF Nepal Fashion Week is considered as one of the most efficient main streamline fashion shows, if not the best, in Nepal. This is an opportunity that no individual in the category of fashion business would like to miss. Unsurprisingly, I am amongst one of them. I consider the TGIF Nepal Fashion Week as a window to explore our true potential and discord our inner doubt. It is the best platform to showcase my passion for designing in this community and I am glad to be a part of this event.
