BARA, MARCH 14

Nepali Congress President and former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba today said he and his party would not shy away from taking the reins of the government if the situation demanded.

Inaugurating an international wrestling programme at Pachrauta Municipality, Bara, Deuba reiterated that the Nepali Congress would always take the responsibility of resolving the crisis facing the country. "I am ready to lead the next government to give a way-out to the country from the current political crisis," Deuba added.

Deuba reminded that though the people had mandated Nepal Communist Party to rule the nation for five years it had failed to do so. "Communists have failed miserably. Thus, I am ready to take the leadership to give a way-out to the nation," he said, adding, "When a country passes through a crisis, Nepali Congress gives solution to the country and people."
